Requejo Consulting, Inc. is and has been for more than 19 years in
the business of international management consulting, specializing in
the areas of international strategy development, international
project development, strategic alliances, joint ventures,
international organization development, and international
negotiations. In these past years the principals of Requejo
Consulting have focused on the international business environment
from an integrated perspective. At times the firm plays a
supporting role. Most often however, the firm is charged with
leading the way for its clients in their efforts to expand
internationally. In all cases, Requejo Consulting operates with an
internal code of ethics that values integrity and preserves trust
while keeping the client’s utmost interest in mind.
The scope and reach of Requejo Consulting’s activity has grown in
tandem with the phenomena of globalization. From 1987 to 1993,
Spain was the center of international activity because of its
pending entry into the European Market, the Olympics in Barcelona
and the World Expo in Sevilla. During this time, Requejo Consulting
assisted various companies with their Spanish entry strategy. From
1993 to 1995, Mexico became the focal point of world trade circles
with its participation in NAFTA. In Mexico, Requejo Consulting
assisted various entities, including Wal-Mart de Mexico and
ChiroMart with their Facilities Management Strategic Alliances.
Not only did Requejo Consulting assist in the establishment of
these relationships but was also instrumental in the resolution of
many conflicts that arose from the devaluation of the Peso in
1994. From 1995 to 1999, the world focused on Japan and the
opportunities that economy represented. As in previous years,
Requejo Consulting made inroads into the Japanese market for various
clients, assisting with delegations and trade conferences. For the
past six years, emphasis has been on Asia Pacific in general and
China in particular. Within Asia Pacific, Requejo Consulting has
assisted clients not only in Japan, but also in Korea, Hong Kong,
Singapore and Taiwan. China is presently one of Requejo
Consulting’s major focus. Spain and Mexico have once again become
active. India will soon to be added to the roster of countries
served.
Of particular interest to our clients has been the focus over the
past three years on international finance. In this regard Requejo
Consulting is honored to be working with various international
financial institutions. On our Advisory Board we have a
representative of Deutsche Bank, we have an ongoing relationships
with Banco Santander and BBVA. As our clients continue to expand
internationally we want to be able to assist them in their financial
relations as well.
In many ways, Requejo Consulting has been able to adapt to the
various global opportunities by representing a “global solution” to
its clients needs. The principals of Requejo Consulting believe in
the precepts of “globalized knowledge” and will continue to
represent its clients’ international interests as globalization
